Hugs embraces nature.
Hugs Amsterdam is a small gallery boutique on Nieuwe Hoogstraat, in the older heart of the city. It is part shop, part studio, part living-room — a place where the clothing is treated like art and the art happens to be wearable.
Every piece is one of a kind. Every piece is made here, by hand, from natural materials. Nothing is repeated.
We make festival wear for the desert and the dancefloor. We make bustiers, capes and wraps for nights that demand to be looked at. And we make our own eco-fur — a handfelted wool textile that asks nothing of any animal and leaves no plastic behind.
We are not for everyone. We are for the ones who want to dress like themselves, finally.
